About Us

Hadrian's Hobbies is a small independent retailer and workshop run by Andrew and Natalie Naisbitt. 

We have been selling models and craft items since 2011, when we opened our first shop in Brampton Town Centre, near Carlisle in Cumbria.  Our aim was to create a successful business from our own hobbies!

In 2013, we moved to our current premises at Unit 6, The Old Brewery, Craw Hall, Brampton, CA8 1TR.   The additional space enabled us to create a workshop and studio.  

We specialise in wargaming miniatures (including paints and accessories), board games, remote control cars (electric) and papercrafting.  In 2023 we introduced our own range of papercraft products under the 'Quirky Crafting' brand.

The shop is generally open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays.  We are now also open Sundays 10am to 4pm in the run up to Christmas! We are a short walk (approximately 5 mins) from Brampton Town Centre and there is parking available in the courtyard of the Old Brewery.

We run regular craft workshops at the shop and offer craft demonstrations and sessions to local groups and clubs.  

There is always a friendly welcome and lots of advice available on the products we sell.
